Courtney Bennett is a local community member and arts supporter. She has volunteered with Olympia Film Society and the Bridge Music Project. They have been a librarian, zine writer, festival and concert organizer, and a personal assistant to YouTubers. She is currently working on a memoir and several novels.

Markly Morrison is so many things aside from a proud papa! He has started or played in myriad musical projects from Skrill Meadow and Lazer Zeppelin to Lake or Malaikat dan Singa. He hosts the music podcast Low Profile Podcast on KAOS and the free Scherler Sundays Outdoor music series as well as a weekly music trivia night at 3 Magnets Brew Pub. Balsa share a love for off-the-beaten path trailblazers. From the bowels of Seattle's SoDo district, Balsa blasts angular post-hardcore noise fueled by strife and triumph. Formed by members of Rending Sinew, Blowback and Ix, the four-piece spews AmRep aggression and experimentation with twisted dual-guitar arrangements and muscular rhythms. Vocalist Omari Taylor's street-wary themes of grit and perseverance draw from the industrial landscape of their SoDo home base. Balsa's song "One Hoarse Town" has been featured on KEXP's iconic punk show Sonic Reducer.
